well I been away a while (my wife got ill) I'm back trying to figure this thing out. so far this is the worst sounding amp I have built?

ok I see what you guys are talking about so i corrected the issue by connecting the 1M to grnd at the tube socket pin. but the amp still sounds bright and fizzy. not pleasant sounding at all? I've built a few amps and this is by far the worst sounding yet any ideas.

1M to ground is mounted @ the input jack...see pics of input jacks

the RC on the vol pot are there to block the dc from the guitar added per the vvr instructions. the board material is bakelite I got from a machinist buddy of mine.

voltages all to chassis gnd except reading across cathode bias res.
any suggestions fellows?

def. got problems, plenty of volume but shrill and thin thru sev. speakers. guess I need to check everything over again. anyone got any ideas I'm open! :x

just the initial test run but it was thru an old alnico 15? will know more about it once i get it tweaked out!

GOOD CATCH! I went over it with your drawing a dozen times and missed this missing ground every time?? LOL. She sounds great...really bright! thinking about putting a vvr in this one! anyway thanks for your help. :oops:
