Suitable Replacement for Vintage Astron Caps
Forgive me this question has been posted before.
I am looking for current manufactured capacitors that are sonically the same or similar to the Orange paper & oil Astron MiniMite and MF caps. I need to replace a few in my Tweed Deluxe and Champ amps.
Please feel free to weigh in.
Thanks!

Triad Transformers
Finally, here's are the pics of the diagram of the PT. Hopefully, they are clear enough of the diagram. The tranny weight is only 8.5 lbs. I would like to be able to drive a least a pair of KT66 or KT88's.
Thx. ST

Re: Triad Transformers
From the diagram on the PT, it appears the 500v on High Voltage (Red) secondaries? On the CT, AT 300ma DC? If it helps, I can attach a pic of the diagram.

Triad Transformers
I purchased 2 used pair Power and Output Triad Transformers, PT PN# R-80BA/BC and OT PN# TY-67A. The OT states it will put out 40 watts, 300-3000C.P.S. They are used but appear to be in good condition with 3" to 4" leads and no rust on the iron. I bought them in hopes of building a wreak or a bassma...

Re: TW Schematic in AP's Tube Amp Book II
That would make sense. It was my understanding that KF designs were based on Vox amps? Any info out their regarding the Wiggle Woman amps?

TW Schematic in AP's Tube Amp Book II
I was going through my original copy of the Tube Amp Book II and the last schematic is of a 4 input, tremolo TW amp? Is this the Wiggle Woman amp? Does anyone know how many were built and what their name or names would be?
