this might be a stupid question, but with everything unplugged should my heaters and output jack have continuity with ground?

how much does the primary impedance of the OT matter. im wondering if that might be my main problem.

it's probably what ill do. ill take out the few 12ax7s and stuff and maybe just donate the rest. im not looking to make money or deal with possible suspect 90 year old tubes. some of these have 1940s dates on them.

Have you ever considered doing a build class like egnster does. Probably not worth it for the time it would take to organize it but I’d love to complete one of these with someone standing over my shoulder
