Re: Pacific 2113 and HTS-8868
HI there... I see you posted about a HTS-888. Can I ask if this is an output transformer you have. I bought a transformer a number of years back with this numbering on it but have forgotten all the details about it so I hoping to find out what it was .

Re: Mouser for a transformer?

I notice that they say that on orders of $100 shipping is free so I guess I am going on that but then again you often find there is some catch as soon as you make it to online checkout!!.. in any case it was on that basis that I thought t...

Re: 15 watt Liverpool Combo Build
Hi Dana I am snuffling around a few threads on this forum here as I try and decide the best way to start on one of the TW builds... I have a Spitfire that I built last year and from looking at Ron's Liverpool documentation, mine seems exactly like the Liverpool apart from the fact there are just two...

Re: Single-Ended Rocket
Hey Steve... relative newbie here.. I have been thinking about putting my toes in the water with a build and rather than jump straight in to a Francesca build I was wondering if you wouldn't mind my trying my hand at your design.. It seems quite different to all the other single ended designs out th...

Re: HIgh Valued Traffo .. Yikes...
Oh.. I forgot to add in terms of the second question... well I am not necessarily purist about the build however I sense from what I read that the amp is very sensitive to the build so I obviously don't want to stray to far from the beaten track for a first build I guess.
Thanks

HIgh Valued Traffo .. Yikes...
HI Folks... I have a TP40D transformer from Allen Amps and was hoping to use it for an Express build... the secondaries are 320-0-320 which seem higher than values discussed elsewhere on the forum.. would I get away it or is there anything I can do to make the secondaries fall in line with what is r...

Perhas a dumb question.??
Guys... new to the forum here but I was wondering if it possible to just remove two of the El84s from the circuit... would to do this require one to change all the rest of the circuit due to voltage shifts etc?
Thought this might give one a lower wattage amp?
Thanks
Tony
