Re: Merlin's morphing Pentode/Ultralinear/Triode EF86
I've done this on a couple of amps now where the EF86 was used for the input and then the 2nd stage. Re: Traynor Darkhorse 2W output
Does anybody know the specs of the output transformer, especially the primary impedance? I'm planning a similar power amp with switchable tubes, and I'm not sure which transformer to use. I've got a Heyboer with 6k6, an upgrade part for a Fender Blues Jr. Perfect for the two 6V6, but maybe too low f...

Re: Rat and big muff in the same enclosure
I wouldn't transplant two pcb's from original pedals into such a big enclosure. Why not sell them and build the clones on one piece of veroboard? That way, you could make some money instead of spending it and end up with a smaller enclosure. For example, this is my TSD-91, a TS-9 and a SD-1 on one b...

Express: Add gain pot and bypass switch for 3rd gain stage
Hello, I need some help - I'm planning an amp, that's not exactly a Trainwreck Express clone, but it will have the same basic topology: Gain stage - Tone stack - gain stage - "cold clipper" gain stage - LTP - PP Power amp The first two stages and the tonestack will be like the bright channel of a Fe...
