Re: D'lator BOM ?

Just looked on Maplin, they don't seem to do them anymore. I think the Hammond low profile ones from Mouser seem quite good, you need 2. 229B12 12VA 12.6V C.T. @ 900ma 6.3V @ 1.8A 229B230 12VA 230V C.T. @ 50ma 115V @ 100ma They only cost about £20 for the pair and will fit inside a 1U. The other alt...

Guitarman, could you give me the spec of the Maplins trannie, please?

Looks like it will do the job, very tidy build, as well, I will try to get mine up to that standard  :D

D'lator BOM ?

Hi there, thanks to this great forum (and the Ceriatone too), I am going to order a Ceriatone 50w OTS HRM as soon as the planes get flying again. I also would like to put together a D'lator, has anyone got a BOM that will make ordering the parts easier. I would just get the kit from Nik but I think ...

Re: Pentode /triode switch for SE class A EL84/6L6 help please.

I've wired the pentode/triode as per the tone-lizard's site, but if you've searched, I'm sure you've seen that one. I've built lots of SE's, but none w/ parallel output tubes, so I can't offer much help there. What kind of tone stack are you using. If you have a typical fender type, you can add a r...

Re: Reverb Pedal

Sorry guys, I have a hard time excepting the RV7 as being worthwhile if it converts the dry to digital. I am always unhappy with the change to the dry tone. The reverb may be amazing but I can't believe it has no effect on the dry. FWIW, the Neunaber Wet has analog dry mix. Interesting.. I played a...

Pentode /triode switch for SE class A EL84/6L6 help please.

Hi to all at AG, this is only my second post so please be nice... :D Two questions really here - (1) I have done plenty of searching all over for a clear layout for a pentode/triode switch for my Ampmaker 1x1ECC83 1x EL84/6L6 SE5a, (my first build) but I can't find one that I can say, yes that is 10...

Re: Reverb Pedal

Well I haven't plucked up the courage to get a D clone yet, but I'm working on it, but I have taken Structo's advice and I received today an RV7 and boy is it good . I have just built an Ampmaker SE5a 5w with parallel EL84 and 6L6 - preferring the 6L6 at the moment - and the RV7 on plate with...
