9mm pots are available from mouser
I've never built this pedal, but I have ordered 9 mm pots from mouser when I had space issues. I'm not talking about the green pcb mount pots. They have the terminal lugs just like the larger ones. I will look for the order numbers and post if you like.

Re: My Express clone has lost all of it's gain
This is strange. Now 1 day later when I check the plate voltages. All of the preamp plate voltages are 22 to 30 volts less than what they are supposed to be. However the power tubes are right on at 415volts. Any suggestions now on what to do next?
Thanks
Thanks

Best explanation of how a Phase Inverter works
I have been struggling with how a phase inverter works. In my opinion, this article did the best job of helping me to understand the concept.

My Express clone has lost all of it's gain
Well it was too good to be true. I finished "Lucinda" one month ago and fired her up without any problems. The amp has been awesome. I turned it on 2 days ago and the amp had lost all of it's gain. It has about 20% of the gain it originally had. I checked the voltage on the plates, grids, cathodes, ...

Thanks for the posts
Thanks. I appreciate the info. I am trying to find a layout diagram. I am too much of a newbie to tell specifically which components are where from the pictures. But this stuff will help alot.

Anyone have a layout for a Climax/New Joyzee amp?
I was wondering if anyone had a layout for the Climax/New Joyzee amp. I am studying the schematic and wanted to see how the layout was designed. Thanks.

Express Layout
Ron,
What program did you use to draw this layout? It looks better than any thing I have seen.
