Re: Amp build for a first time builder?

Backing board should be on chassis floor, followed by 1/4" standoffs.Mount main board to standoffs. Space is tight on this build,so you don't want main board too high. If you use screws and nuts for the doghouse and cap board it will interfere with the backing board. I used the same chassis and tapp...

This is my first attempt at cabinet finishing.Bought a bare cab. on the bay and did my best. I have alot of respect for you cab. builders. It was not easy. Re: K50 Build

Reel, The takmans are 1w and beefy would be an understatement. They are huge. I'm using 1/2w in my current build.
I buy them from parts connexion. Good service, quick shipping.

The amp is a concorde with a fast/gradual switching mod. Looks like a very good build.
I sent you the info.

5f6a build

Hey guys,Picked up a 91 re-issue bassman that had a nasty distortion problem. Gutted it and went "old school". Amp sounds killer. Used m.c. pt, heyboer ot.,hammond choke, allen bradleys. Amp worked when I got it. If anyone wants the old parts, you may have them.Just p.m. me. Jim [img:2959:2219]http:/...
