What is the concensus on the preferred type of coax to be use? I am using RG-174. Does anyone know the capacitance?

Thanks Gil. I will go from the assumption that you made. I guess I should have asked the real question, is if 300 mA would be enough since that I the transformer that I have in hand. That would give me about 130watts.

Can someone tell me what the minimum current rating for a PT is when you are using 4 6L6 power tubes? I know that a Twin PT is rated for about 450mA. But is that really the minimum needed for a 88 watt build?

You are correct Bob. Thanks for making the correction. I did end up with 220K, with a short tank, 3 springs. However, for me 220k is more than I need.

For R10 start with a value between 47K and 27K. You have to calculate the power dissipation on the tube so you won't fry it with the higher voltage. Just keep that in mind. I used a 10K tail resistor and it worked better for me. I use 6v6 and 6l6, I get a better range to work with.
