Interesting clip. After looking at the eq/bright switch settings on the clip, it seems as though the amp is more mellow than the Express that I have been in contact with (and my clone). If you had set the amp like the one on the video, it would have been VERY bright and crispy.

I just got a fully assembled Express from Nik (sans tubes) with his new transformers. I haven't compared them to Moose's, but the amp flat out rocks!! I played a real Express a while back, and as far as I remember, this thing sounds just as good.

Figures!! I post this yesterday, and guess what shows up on my doorstep today!!!! A nice care package from Nik!!

Just put the tubes in it and fired it up.

I know that he has been waiting on new transformers (supposedly more like the originals), but I am rapidly approaching 8 weeks since I placed my order for a completed amp.

Guess I will just have to continue to be patient.
