AAahhhh...
To be fair, the new stuff looks much nicer. This is the inside of a Crystal 100, which is their updated JM amp. You've got to love the hearts in the signature and the crystal lattice pic on the preamp board! These builds are obviously more in-line with our standards around here. That is too cute. :P

Scraped?
Here is the Emerald Pro 50 before I scraped it.bluesy wrote:It was "scraped" when I got it. I assumed, at the time, that the scraping was done at TR when you sent it in for the mods.

Dudes
Hi Gents I just finished my express using Dave's trannies. This is #7. I've used Pacifics from Allyn in the past and Heyboer as well. Facts 1. Trannies were shipped quickly and in perfect condition. 2. They are indeed Pacific trannies. 3. The trannies are quality and sound great to my ear 4. I would...

Got a set
Hi Folks,
It's been a while since my last TW build.
Ordered a set a iron from Dave. He shipped it out the same day and I received the iron well packaged this week via ups ground.
So far so good.
Cheers,
Decko

Re: not sure what I'm doing?super drive? Marshall?
Thanks Martin .I just realized I wired the input jacks wrong so I need to fix that. However its doing this weird thing where if I turn it up and stand next to it with my guitar it starts Ramping up into feeding back as soon as I unmute the strings  Hey Cbass, my amp does the same thing! What w...

Sweet sounding circuit! Ya'll should be proud if your builds are sounding like the Youtube clips. If so....well done! I studied the Freestompbox.org schematic compendium but it seemed that all of the SD60 schemos started with the power supply and ended at the PI outputs. Hope that I didn't miss som...

Re: Values?
Hi Rhinson, What values do you recommend on the grid stoppers? Decko given that there's a 100pf rolloff cap on the input, you probably don't need any----just have to try to taste and see what makes sense for you in combo with the cap. i'd do maybe 10k -33k and see if you like it better with or with...

Snap shot of inputs
Hi Cbass,
Tested out 6L6GC, KT66s, and 5188s.
5188s sound best to my ear.
Can you snap a shot of your inputs?
I would like to see how you wired those.
I used switch craft inputs.
I did not used ant resistors on the grids but I am curious to know what you do.
Thanks,
Decko

Accepting Nominations: "Unknown" Guitarist Hall of
Hi TAGers,
Thought this might be fun.
There are awesome guitarists in every city. Just some guy or gal who has been "noodling around" in the bedroom for years or even in a band!
Who is your nominee?
Links would be cool.
I nominate:
Joe Touche - SF Bay Area - Post link soon.

Haven't tried the 6P3S. Russian 6L6 from what I've read.
Have you tried using Russian PIO's?

Power and HRM Board?
Hi TAGers,
New to this side of the forum. Usually I am hanging out on the Express side.
Does anyone here have a bead on who may produce the boards below?
Thanks in advance folks!
