Keep in mind that Music Ground was shut down for selling counterfeit goods (among other things). Are you certain that this amp is the real deal?

For over a decade I played nothing but my Peavey Classic 50.
Then, about six/seven years ago I picked up a Carr Rambler and have used it nonstop ever since since. 8)

The way I see it, if an experienced amp builder cares enough about the specific type of wire they use (including red wire covering :lol:), then they're also going to take extra measures to tune the amp right before they sell it. Their belief was in their wire, the truth was in their effort. 8)
