Your bias is nothing more than 2 strings of parallel resistors. They need isolation from each other. Try the attached setup. If my mind is clear enough tonight, it should work. (The bias, that is!!!!)

Since you are on the subject of the Rev Gibbons and Fender. I have always tried to figure out what he used on Thunderbird on the Fandango album. The sound is very rolled off and cranked. Any idears??

Keep it as is and build a multi channel preamp. One Fumble, one Wrack, and a Finger channel. Normally the old DuKane amps were meant to be driven with 1vrms on the input.

The nice thing about Mouser is the ability to save "projects". If you setup a project, you can click 1 button to order all of the items.
