A better understanding of its optimum capabilities may be a good reference point for would be wreck owners/builders who may never hear one properly before taking the plunge to build/buy So, leaving aside the more modern need to airbrake, and mic amps on stage, ..... what and where is the wrecks true...

Re: Speaker Cab for the Express

Ron, this is one area where i will be departing from the formula, so not sure if this will be helpful have you considered other cab options??? If funds are tight after the amp build and you want decent cab consider building a 2X12 detuned Cab. This is one of Kevin O'Connors ideas for cab building. H...

Re: What are the No Compromise (obtainable) parts for Express

Thanks for all the input. My essential component list is a lot smaller than i had initially thought it might be.

Im in no rush though, my main aim is to do as much myself as possible. If it takes 6 months to gather and assemble parts.... then it will take 6 months.

Re: What are the No Compromise (obtainable) parts for Express

. I'm pretty sure Ken knew what parts he wanted to use,and how they would sound or effect the amp. and there in lies the reason for the question, us mere mortals ... well me anyway, may not have the skill and knowledge to know what to do when you have to make do, .... although i agree there is a lo...

Re: What are the No Compromise (obtainable) parts for Express

What are the No Compromise (obtainable) parts for Express

Sorry if this has already been asked I am planning to get chassis, board and most components from Nik at Ceriatone to make it as much a one stop shop as possible, however, the following are the components I will be sourcing elsewhere as they appear to be ones not to be compromised on if you want to ...
