Re: Open heart surgery Wednesday...
Thank you all for the good thoughts. If you're prayin' folks, please keep me in your prayers. I'm down to where it's real. Kind of hoping it wasn't, but no miracles yet. I've got a good surgeon. I guess. Going to get a cow valve, so no lifetime of blood thinners, but it will wear out eventually, and...

Open heart surgery Wednesday...
Valve replacement.
Not that kind of valve...
So...
If I don't see you no more in this world
I'll see you in the next one
And don't be late...

Re: Channel switching on D-style amp without relays etc?
I agree on Dave's boards. I've had 3 relay boards working happily for a while now. I thought OP wanted to do it without relays. The FET switches didn't need separate power supplies & were therefore cheaper and easier. If we are back to relays & power supplies, Doug Hoffman's stuff looks pretty good,...

Re: Channel switching on D-style amp without relays etc?
there used to be a site called skipzcircuits that made a pre-built fet switch board that drew a tiny amount of juice from the heater circuit.
His stuff used to be well thought of on TGP and a couple of marshall boards.
You might try a search for him...

Re: Fender Twin baffle board repair advice needed
just drill new holes from the back of the baffle cleats in different places from the original ones. make sure the new holes are not where the edge of the speakers will be. lay the baffle on the floor, put the cab flat on top of the baffle, and screw the old screws through the new holes into the baff...

Denver area folks...
I need a 8mfd 450VDC Sprague atom. I'd be glad to pay for it & pick it up. Since Fistell's closed, there's no place in town I know of to get good parts. I unfolded the leads on the last one I have, and it came off in my hand. I've tried the local amp repair guys, but nobody seems to stock atoms. I'v...

Yep.
I had a stroke 4/30/15 in my Dad's hospital room. He passed 5/3...
They found I have a heart murmur/aortic stenosis.
Now I'm waiting on open heart / valve replacement.
If I make it relatively unscathed, I'll probably finish the 4 builds I was in the middle of...

Hi Xtian,
I don't know...
I don't need one, and right now, it's still Dad's amp, you know?
But he'd be ok with me fixing it, I guess.
Still kind of a fresh wound...
