Re: Jim kelly single channel layout ?

John Suhr changed the shared screen resistor in 2 X 3K9@5W. There must be a good reason for that.

Re: Jim kelly single channel layout ?

Simple cathode boost with 1 uF Cap. You can simply make the boost adjustable with a 50K RA pot to make it a lot more versatile.

Re: Jim kelly single channel layout ?

When needed I have all the info on the new JK amps. incl. boardlayout, faceplate layout etc. And lot of detailed pics. Don't want to piss of Jim who is a member here. Love those amps and they deserve a prominent place on TAG allong with TW and DMBL. I just don't like Ceriatone to get away with it.

Re: F*#king 1/4" phone plugs!

About a year ago I had problems with Switchcraft to. I did a close check and found out the bad ones were copies. Bought them by TAD. They sell a lot of Chinese stuff for real.

Re: Sozo Mustard Vintage vs Orange Caps

Just wondering if anyone has tried the old Mullard mustards in a Wreck?

I used the real NOS mustards in a expresse clone. They also need some time to break in ( about 50h ). They are realy shimmering without any harshness at all. Very good choice when you can get them.

#40 style fonts

We are working on a exact #40 style chassis here.
http://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... 386#110386
Now searching for the right fonts styles. They look like a combination of two different font styles. Especialy on the W, A and M.
