I forgot to add that the text in the document in RED notes the stuff I am not sure about or have questions.
Please pile on with the corrections here- I'm looking to make it as accurate as is possible, given that part obsolescence is pretty likely on some stuff.

Structo-
Yes they're identical- except Doug only has them in red... so for the totally anal builder, I found the amber style that KF used..

Re: Express Pilot Light source
Thanks for the info Glen!
BTW, this is all your fault... after I heard your youtube clip, I just had to figure out what this whole Wreck thing was about....lol.
I don't think I'll ever sound as good as you do, but bloody hell, I'd settle for 75% as good!
Thanks,
Ron

Re: Who are we? Let's get to know each other!
I'm 48, Wife and 2 teen-aged daughters (yes, God has a sense of humour). We live in Keller, TX, about 15 miles north of Fort Worth. I'm a Sales Director in the Aerospace / Avionics industry. Lots of travel. BSEE by education, but not practicing (except on amps). I've been playing since I was 12, but...

Re: Express Pilot Light source
I haven't ordered any yet- still waiting on a final quote from a distributor. I was quoted about $1.20 by the closest one (Austin, TX), but want another to see if the pricing is fairly uniform.
I will post when I get that quote, then make a list of who wants what....

Re: Express Feet
Thanks for the info NG. The intent here is to build a BOM that's as accurate and complete as possible. Maybe I'm just being anal... but I've yet to see a BOM here that was much more than a list of electronic components. Not being critical, just an observation. Anywho, once I get these feet sorted, I...

Express Feet
Anybody got pictures of what the real Express' screw off feet look like? I am trying to finish up my BOM. Here's what I can deduce so far on the bottom plate / cabinet / feet setup: "Use 14 #6X3/8" screws to hold it (the bottom plate) to the chassis. Then use nutserts by drilling 3/8" holes in the c...

Re: Express Pilot Light source
OK, I have 6 requested so far plus my 2 for 8.
Min buy is 10, so I will definitely do the buy. I will wait a few more days to see if there are more takers to get as many as the group will want.
Allynmey, any for you??????

Thanks Paul, I assume that a 500V value will be adequate for this purpose.

Express Pilot Light source
I think that I have found the exact (very close) Pilot Light that KF used on the Express- see attached document. Source: http://www.mode-elec.com/ I'm in the process of making a very detailed BOM that I will share with everyone- It should be the most accurate one based on those that I have seen so f...
