I dont have the cabs built yet. I'm going to but it may be the summer before it comes to fruition. I was very happy with the last set I built but someone came along who was happier. I will post the project when it happens. Thanks for the responses

Would also be nice to jumper across your effects loop to see if something is wrong there. It's always best to make them work first and then add all the extra's later.

Wait...does your volume pot work or is the amp on full all the time ? you should be able to turn the amp down.

Thats sweet. I'm allways on the lookout for some old organs. Scour your local craigslist for the wurlitzer model 4100. There is a 6L6 amp in it and 9 LP GE12AX7's.

If signal is driving your output tube grid negative do you have a spare preamp tube to try swapping out?

You can do an ebay search for DCM Timeframe. They are an inexpensive design from the 70's and 80's that sound large , as you say , and deliver tight big bottom end out of 1 or 2 5" cones .
