If it is power supply buzz, it should stop immediately when you flip the power off--no fade out.
It looks and sounds to me like you have the same problem I have described many times. Read my posts in this thread:

Re: Resonance , its not just for breakfast anymore ....
So, we went from free energy with motors that run themselves to wah pedals and dangling capacitors in the magic zone around a transformer. Where does the anti-gravity and the way-back machine fit in with this? Mind sharing what you're smoking? Oh, do us all a favor and buy this: http://www.amazon.co...

Re: Resonance , its not just for breakfast anymore ....
Do you actually believe what you just wrote? It looks like in that first video that it is pretty simple and easy to build once you have the right idea/blueprint. If this is all about free energy and saving the world, why doesn't someone patent it and then release the plans and patent to the world? I...

Re: Resonance , its not just for breakfast anymore ....
You really need to do your research and look at multiple sources. You are doing what I see some of my students do--latch on to the source that supports your predetermined opinion. If you research Tesla a bit deeper, you will find that he was 86 years old when he died of a blood clot in the heart. He...

Re: Fender now selling expesive caps
It's been a long, cold winter and I have been contemplating making some caps. A couple of questions I have are, when they say "tin foil" are they actually referring to aluminum foil? Or is it really tin that is made into a foil. And, if it is aluminum foil, how do you bond the leads to the foil? Sol...

Re: Fender now selling expesive caps
It might be interesting to dissect one to find the real capacitor inside the wrapper.

Re: 100W plexi...so um....are they supposed to be noisy?
The output jacks need to be of the isolated type so that they don't make the ground connection at the jack to the chassis at that point. They do, however, need to have a ground wire going from the common to the place I mentioned. Look at the schematic and think it through--the negative feedback netw...

Re: 100W plexi...so um....are they supposed to be noisy?
When all other avenues are exhausted, PI hum is almost always caused by a ground problem. The speaker jacks need to be isolated and the common from the OT secondary needs to be grounded at the same place as the PI--most commonly at the same place that the presence pot is grounded if using a 5K pot o...

I stick my tongue on 9-volt batteries (I am calibrated to + or - 1 volt, although I have been drifting due to age).

Re: High voltage LED display
What is it that you want to do? If you want to read voltages, then just get a 0 to 5 volt display or whatever range is reasonable and scale the voltage to the input with a resistor divider.
