Pretty cool idea. I try to use those corcom filters on the AC side when possible. They really help on line side pops and clicks.

You could use concentric treble/bass controls like the old Standel amps had. That is the stacked pots with seperate controls. It sounds like the power tranny should be able to handle what you want to do. Looks like it could have some interesting results.

Pacific Transformer Question

While digging through the piles of "stuff" today, I ran across a tranny with no info. It appears to be a Pacific, identified by the 1052 0033 code. Assuming the 0033 was year 2000, week 33. The only other number is T542903. The primaries are BLU, BRN, RED Secondairies are BLK, ORG, YEL. Possibly 35-...

Could be a grounding issue, such as an inferior house ground. A simple solution would be to use a Corcom EMI/RF filter. They are made in many different forms and shapes. They even make one that will replace the standard IEC connector on the back of the amp. MAKE SURE you have enough clearance before...

The capacitor on the far right should have the polarity reversed. Otherwise it looks ok.
