Re: reducing bass
Use thinner gauge wire, bass frequencies are bigger and have a harder time bouncing through a skinny wire. Red wires have always seemed to cut bass for me. The blue wires accentuate bass. Teflon only, right? Srsly...thicker wire can pass amperage more easily...so at least it wouldn'...

Re: To those who voted.
About the healthcare thing... until we get the insurance companys straightened out...healthcare will be too expensive for normal people to afford on their own. When doctors charge you a different rate depending on if you have insurance or not...the system is broken. Should we privatize it? Maybe. Sh...

Re: To those who voted.
I do believe that a lot of black people voted for him simply because he was black. I know people who voted for McCain because he's white. Ignorance goes both ways. Also, Bush said he had a mandate to extend the war on terror after his reelection in '04...Since Obama just captured a majority of the ...

Re: To those who voted.
I like the no confidence thing. Imagine if GW was in power for another 8!!! OMG The "No TV ads" and "poll quizzes" are better together. See where I'm going with this? We shouldn't let stupid people vote. BOTH sides have knuckle-dragging mouth breathers that have no business choosing OUR president. O...

Re: To those who voted.
Our nation would do well to remove ALL "lifer" politicians and start over clean. Politicians should not be paid...they are civil servants. ALL income should be published in depth according to GAAP. We need debate time for the top 5 candidates not the top 2 (forget the 15% rule). All politicians nee...

Re: EL84's via Yellow Jackets in an EL34 Express build question
Can someone explain it to the other "idiots" in the room?
<<<<This idiot is curious.
Expresses are cathode biased right?
That should mean that the YJ's would work....correct?

Re: Wire polarity?
A couple points from a purly physical perspective. Electrons don't "line up"...their position can't be predicted. No manufacturing "extrusion process" has the capability to rearrange sub-atomic particles. At the atomic level there is much more "space" in metal than "material". My (uninformed, untest...

DAMN!!!
That sounds better than "Can You Hear it Ring?"...the reason I got a TW clone.
You've got to stop posting this stuff...I can't afford it! Now I need a DuoJet...
Glen, you're amazing.

Why does the "P-90 have two sets of pole screws? It's a single coil righ...

Re: Measuring output power.
Here's how I measure output power and I'm wondering if there's different schools of thought. I measure my amp's output at the load with my scope. I crank up the volume just until the output distorts then back off until it's undistorted. Measure peak-peak voltage, divide by 2, take RMS value then mu...

They're all geeked about it.
Sounds about right...since it looks like it'll be close to $100/pop...you know TGP will be all over it.
