I have a question about the Rock/Jazz switch. I modified the normal channel of my Twin Reverb with a Dumble style tone stack. Going from Rock to Jazz causes a great drop in my signal. I do the same thing with input jacks. Especially for 4 input amps. It works great!

As far as TAD preamp tubes go, I've used their premium 12ax7 in V1 of a fussy Bogner a customer brought in. It worked great as far as noise & microphonics go. Tone wise I'm not sure, all those high gain amps sound the same to me

What happens in a push pull amp with negative feedback is you turn that negative feedback into positive feedback if you hook up you OT wires wrong. In amps with no negative feedback (tweed deluxe for example) it doesn't matter.

I've used the British vintage 25 & 30 in a 2x12 cab and they sounded great. I also ordered a American vintage 10" for another amp and was surprised when it showed up it was just a relabeled weber signiture series 10" it even came in the weber box.
