Re: Xicon 1K 25 W resistor source

Thanks to both of you guys... nice to be in a forum with guys like you! I'd name my first-born after you, but I know for a fact that it will be a girl!

Re: Xicon 1K 25 W resistor source

I just checked Fry's website and don't see one listed... I live in a third world country called Mississippi and there isn't a Fry's within 300 miles of me...

Yes only one for the time being... I have a build underway and am still sourcing parts and ran into a wall with the 1K 25 W. Could I PayPal you the cost + postage to you?

Xicon 1K 25 W resistor source

Does anyone know of a source other than Mouser for the Xicon 1K 25W resistor. Mouser is presently out and won't be able to ship one until July sometime.

tube socket locations on chassis

I can't seem to find a drilling template to locate the proper locations for the tube sockets on an Express chassis. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: What wood finish for figured maple?

I really like a good tung oil finish... it takes a long time to build up a good finish, but the finish is easily repairable should it get scratched. Allow for proper drying between coats and buff between coats with 000 steel wool.
