I've known this cab for quite a few years now, during which time it has been in the ownership of one person, it is genuine.

Re: Breaking in a Ceriatone OTS

Hi, Having bought quite a few new amps over the last few years I'm sure that they do have a "bedding in" period. My latest new amp is a marshall Plexi 50 clone which I have been gigging twice a week now for the past 6 weeks. It definately does sound warmer, sweeter, rounder and fuller than it did on ...

Re: OVERDIVE special

It's not a fake, one of my friends (current owner of #155) owned that amp for a short while, it does indeed say Overdive on the front panel ! It did his head in that it was mispelt :D

Re: Steve Farris ODS #075

Hi Markus, sadly there occured some complications and I still have problems to walk around without pain (as you can see from the number of my posts here lately). So no travels, neither to Vienna nor to Cassis. But please report. BTW: When you are in Vienna you could perhaps buy (if you are interest...

Re: Still loving my Fuchs ODS 30 after over a year :)

I bought my first ODS mod amp from Andy 10 years ago now. It was built in an old Twin Reverb Chassis which Andy supplied. A year later I got a Bassman 50 modded too. In 2005 I got a full production ODS SLX 100 head and cab. I still own and use the amp I got in 2005, the mod amps went to friends to f...

Re: Mayer Crossroad Festival Rig

I saw the back of the cabs on another site recently. One cab had a pair of Celestion Golds, one had Celestion G12 Century Vintages (neodymium) and at least one (possibly both) of the other cabs had G12-65's. Can't say which pairings were for which amps though. I saw him using this rig on his recent...

I've heard that the cabs are alessandro's and he's running Heritage Greenbacks, but don't know which ones.

Re: Matt Scoffields sound/tone.

Thanks for your reply, Rob. I also had the same info regarding his Carlton Bludotone. I just wanted to discuss his present sound before he (I assume) changes direction with his forthcoming Bludotone. Are you going to see him in Sheffield this month? I've got tickets for Band on the Wall in Manchest...

Re: Matt Scoffields sound/tone.

I spoke to Matt after one of his shows and he said the Bludo he was using was actually a Larry Carlton amp, his actual one. Brandon would be able to tell you the specs of that amp I guess. He also said that one was in the process of being built for him, so as it was some time ago that we spoke, he m...

Re: Anyone successful in doing the Dumble-like AB763 Fender Mods

I did them on a SF Pro Reverb many years ago. I added a mid pot on the back panel, they did work and sounded pretty good. At least I had the option of something different on the normal channel. I also added a pot to reduce the negative feedback If I remember right, the channel would drive quite nice...
