Great looking build "beasleybodyshop" congrats.
I also had issues with the reverb being too intense on my #005 build.
I ended up changing the pot sizes to much smaller values.
Cheers

Thanks Guy77, do you know if Rootz still has board sets available?
Reverb is always a nice feature to have.

Re: ODS gutshot from Pinterest
I saw this the other day on Pinterest and thought it was an unusual layout for an ODS. Dumble ODS unknown SN.jpg I noticed there are only seven pots on the front panel, and it looks like the Presence pot is replaced with a switch. Boards are like SSS boards, and the three preamp tubes layout is sim...

Re: My take on Eric Johnson's Steel String Singer #005
I love all that suede and the Diamond grills. Great job Bas. Congrats!
The look reminds me of the movie American Hustle with all the carpet they had in that movie and that era!
I am just working on a yellow/gold suede 2x12 with matching Signature JM head. Will keep me warm in the winter.
Cheers

Thank you for posting Ayan!
Maybe we can use LND150's for this circuit.

Re: Harmonic trem in Princeton reverb
Thanks for the compliments! Youtube and iPhone compression don't do the amps sound any good, but for now it's the best I can do. Now on to the issues - and I hope to get some help here - first my grounding scheme. Attached is the current layout, apart from some details. The grounding scheme is a bi...

Hey, friends, I'm on board as TAG admin. (Power corrupts!) Re: Harmonic trem in Princeton reverb
Harmonic trem is my favorite trem. I was at a local family owned restaurant and a band was playing and the guitar player was plugged into this custom amp that had no name on it and the cab was poorly made. It had the same controls as a Princton Reverb and about the same size. He told me it had harmo...

Re: Vox-style grillcloth patented | legal issues?
I was building a bunch of combo amps for a popular effects pedal manufacturer about 2 yrs ago. They wanted the diamond grill cloth so I installed them on the combos. That same week he showed me a copy of a letter that he received from someone he knew at Two Rock. It was a cease and desist letter fro...

Re: DC Heater considerations
Another great and simple alternative to eliminate heater hum is elevating the existing AC heaters with an injection of DC volts! I have done it on several amps and was pleasantly surprised at how much quieter they got. Here is the thread that describes it. https://ampgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f...
