that's what i was thinking Tom. They are used to supress noise in the circuit and possibly with other benefits like transfering power between 2 circuits that are not connected together.

Strange....everything seems to line up just fine when i open it up in Visio. I'm using Visio 2007. For the Preamp, Overdrive and Power Amp - the font shows Ariel. For the FET and NOR - the font shows Agency FB. For the Overdrive Special by Dumble - the font shows Pristina. Rock, Bright, Mid and Jazz...
