Re: Audio Interface for iPad Mini / GarageBand
There is a device called the irig that I use to play direct into the garageband. I also have a usb CADu37 mic. It makes it real easy. You may have to buy a usb to lightening adapter which they are pretty proud of. I ended up getting pretty frustrated with it. There is a latency issue between what yo...

Re: Strat player looking for a humbucking guitar
Find you a used PRS bolt neck. Put you favorite humbuckers in it. Mine goes to almost every gig with me and the LP stays home. They can be great players guitars especially if you are a strat player.

That is a great looking amp. I also use a Dynaco st70. I also have a couple of Heathkit w5m for rebuild. Rebuild it and get a nice vintage tube preamp for it. You will never want to listen to new stuff again. Shoot me a price if you don't want to mess with it.

Re: No bidding wars OK?
Well Reeltarded I kind of wish you had not put that Strat up. I turns me on a bit. On second thought that may be a good thing. Really I have been looking around for a rosewood 3tone strat but that is out of my league.

They were the first concert I ever went to. My sister took me. I still want a vox guitar.

The ONE amp I wish I had not sold was my Magnatone Troubador. Man it had a sweet tone.

Re: 59' Fender Bassman
I have 5f6a Bassman. There are a lot of ways to use one. They can be extremely bright or very mushy and muddy. They are also too loud for me to gig with anymore. Most people are going to use pedals with them unless you are a blues purist playing at Antone's in Austin where volume is allowed! The amp...

Re: Johnny Winter
I got to see him here in Beaumont a couple of months ago. He looked healthy and walked himself to the stage. The band ran off from him a couple of times but he was digging in with everything he had. His guitar playing was so ahead of it's time but for me it was always his voice. Man the blues just p...

Re: Fun junk find.
The Genelex kt66 are gone long ago from my old one and this one as well. I do however have some rca blackplates that may have to do. I am currently running a Dynaco st70 that I rebuilt but not really modded. Some uys run a mono system just to use this cool old stuff. I will probably ebay the tuners ...

Fun junk find.
Wondering where this came from. Hotel? Ship? Whorehouse? Has switches on it that say things like, left chair speaker, dual cabinet speaker. It has a phone dial and a time clock. It even has the schematic in it. Someone hand built this thing. Heathkit am and fm tuners and mono preamp. The best part i...

You are getting off light. My daughters civic just broke a timing belt because my lazy ass didn't change it sooner. The truth is, this is my fourth child I have kept a car running for. I do most of the work. I am pretty worn out!

Thank You for that. I have been wanting to try skating. I will have to start out with a bunch of padding taped to myself!.

I realized I was still just shoveling shit.
I am trying to get to the end of my life without becoming an asshole again!

Re: Schematic Heaven site says Going Down end of this month
I recently tried to send in an Alamo Paragon schematic. It would kick back to me. He never got it.
