Hi all,
28yo, italian mechanical engineer, my name is obviously Roberto. Started playing bass and guitar when I was just 17. Interested in searching an astonishing guitar sound, more than finding it. Just like an Ulysses in a sea of harmonics.

Re: non-HRM Findings
Rk' is cathode resistance of 12ax7 due to plate load.
The combination of that internal resistance and cathode resistor Rk (seen as a parallel) and cathode bypass cap Ck, changes low frequency cut-off of that stage. Ck in uF, Rk in kOhm and F in Hz.

Re: non-HRM Findings
Hi all,
I noticed someone attached cathode bypass roll-offs.
Time ago I wrote a xls about that. This is a print-friendly pdf version of it.
Enjoy!

Re: Frequency analisys until V2a's grid in Soldano's SLO100
Thanks David.
My interest is focused on a claim I've found on an Aiken's pdf:
bypass caps are often used to compensate high series resitance frequency roll-off. So.. if I lower triodes load.. ..and also thermal noise should.. Am I wrong?

Frequency analisys until V2a's grid in Soldano's SLO100
Hi all, I'm interested about the real frequency shaping until the second OD triode. Slo100 just because it has the most complete and complex coupling stage in universally known schematics. - due to Rk//Ck: 145Hz Shelving Filter (SH) between Unbypassed 47x gain and bypassed 77x gain. the the cut-off ...
