Tony
Never noticed the missing bypass cap.
Also has a 1 meg trimpot, wouldn't be too many with that value?

Hi Max,

I think those amps are OD-50WR #0030 and OD-100WR #0081. Both are pre OD.

Re: ODSR #13 Hand drawn layout by H.A.D

Hi guys,

The 100k was probably an over sight. The bulk of my schematics and layouts were done when I was working full time and only time I had to do them was late nights, there were many 2-3am nights!

Tony, doesn't SSS #005 have the "Tweed" mixer circuit, which is my favourite too!

Re: My '63 Dumble-modded Princeton (?)

The Tweedle Champ has the newer black Spragues.
And the Tweedle Dee has newer Ruby caps.

Hi Dan,

Power transformer was a Mercury Magnets Tweed Deluxe
Output was Classictone? Tweed Deluxe.

Re: Benson Monarch

I had the amp back again to double check the power supply, and I did trace it wrong. The 10k is from the B node, not the A node as on the schematic.
Pic of the pre amp.

I noticed the transformer layout, Marshall style compared to the Fender/Dumble style.
Keen to hear some clips of this beast.

Re: #183 build attempt

Beautiful build. There’ll be no vibration in those boards, how thick is the PCB?

Indeed. SSS #001 used SP-117, SSS #002 used SP-118 and SSS #005 didn’t have one.

Re: Bruno Super 100

Aaron Yep! that definitely has some funky stuff happening :? and is not a Music man. Doesn't really matter those NOS big bottle Phillips work great in these amps, especially in OD. Here is what I have. It's a nice set up well balanced w/ plenty of bottom and blooms nicely. I stuck dead on the schem...

Re: Bruno Super 100

I only had a quick play of it, but I usually find the tone controls very dynamic, this amp seemed to have a more mono? sound. Hard to describe, I’ll have a better play of it in the next day or two.
I also have an Underground 30 here for some McLovin

The original was a low plate sky with 25uF on both V1/V2 ..Let me know if you want a schematic of an original,Ill try and dig it out.. US15.jpg Tony H...
