Re: Pics of my build
Hi all, that is the same as the one we had. The cherry veneer covered the front edges just like that picture. Some of the veneer was stripped from the top and all the veneer from the front edge. The box was constructed with locking a dado joint covered with cherry veneer. If it wasn't the same one i...

We thoroughly enjoyed his company! Allynmey P.S. the pics are totaling 137MB zipped up. Yeah, we took a couple! I thin...

Re: Great source for custom chasiss
Thanks for the layout Snide, I am getting old and can't remember where I get or put anything anymore. I like your layout and built 2 power boards from it. HeeBGB's power board is your layout also since I had both boards made by Ken at turretboards.com. Although it's a little big in it's current conf...

Re: Great source for custom chasiss
Allenmy - Thanks for the info. I'll try the acetone this weekend to clean up the chassis. Any tips on polishing to get rid of the small scratches without making swirl marks? Andy - You get just tell Nik that you would like a chassis like the one he made for me. However, my chassis is a little bit s...

Re: Great source for custom chasiss
gnugear - Yes, it is aluminum. Nik also offers stainless steel chassis. Allenmy - I'd like to see your layout. I'm having trouble trying to layout the power supply. Since I'm trying to be as close to a real Trainwreck as possible, I'm going off the grainy pictures of the real TW in the Files sectio...

Re: Great source for custom chasiss
Nice Omar! :D Nik does great work. I just got a 36 watter and a JTM45 Chassis from him and they are top notch! I may have to get a TWreck chassis from him now. Greg (HeeBGB) should be finishing his TWreck build this week and I'm sure he'll post pics. I'll follow right behind him (we laid out the cha...

Re: A quick clip of my TWreck clone
Hi Ricks57, What version were you using in that build? That sounds amazing! Exactly what I'm looking for. I'm almost done with my A1A version. I'd like to know what if any changes I should make. I absolutely love the sound of your 'wreck.

Re: How about we post some pics and layouts?
Sozo Caps break-in. They do sound better after break-in! I don't think it takes 100 hous though. I built a hi gain 18 watt tmb with Sozos and it took about 20 hours to smooth 'em out! Here's a tip: Plug in a dummy load or one speaker wwrapped in pillows. Take a portable cd player or anything with a ...
