Re: A Collection of #124 Information (Schematics, Layout, etc.)
Hi guys , sorry but I'm a bit confused about Ratio and Level pots .
If I understand the level pot( between od1 and od2 ) is 100k lin , and Ratio pot ( after od2 ) is 250K log ?
thanks all for help

Re: presence cap questions
Hi guitarman18,
I looked better and now the layout is okay, I had not seen the dotted line of the earth under the board!
but looking the schematic , I'm not sure for the cathodes of V2 , they could be tied to cathodes of V1 as layout show.

presence cap questions
If I watch the photo of #124 , I seems that the positive of the presence cap is wired to ground or I'm wrong? If I watch the #124 layout in the "file section", I don't see the ground wired with presence cap instead in the schematic this is tie to cathodes of V2. Can anyone explain me . Thanks very m...

Re: I'm new , first question for 100W
thank you all for your suggestions, I think to start w/100K plate resistors like #124, and then hear how it sounds, make changes if necessary.
I'm finding this forum really available and competent people, thanks to all for your support.

I'm new , first question for 100W
Hello everyone, I am new in this forum. for some time that I read many post to better understand these amps Dumble and I would like to build one. I have already experience with tube amps and have built a few pieces for me and some friends. I would make a 100w non-HRM, model # 124 seems a good scheme...
