Re: Amp Troubles
Make sure you clean the socket of carbon before using it, or it will keep on happening and get worse. Not a good idea to mess w/ hv unless something is indeed wrong, shit always happens. If u blew the bal resistors either the socket and/or the tube took a hit also.

Re: Leslie!
I own 3 Leslies and a B3. In the '70s i hauled a 145 to almost every gig for guitar. I used to do a guitar synth w/a B3 patch thru a cls222 into two twins. Very convincing, and fun.

Re: Boogie MKIIB ....... hmmm
I worked on many of these, and modded some to have the pre and post efx loop circuitry like a Mk III. They still had the single overdrive stage, which worked well. Also, the reverb circuit works much better looped to this circuitry. The reverb shielded wire is the return, unshielded the send. Also s...

Re: Almost had a really bad night
PM me a pic of your dog. Finn used to like to run like a mad dog and run into your legs, he'd get going so fast that he'd take your legs right out from under-- or empty all the wastebaskets in the house if you left him home alone---

Re: ground bus question
The bus wire connects the pot ground terminals only, and is star grounded to a terminal near the in jack area on one end. Not a great idea to solder it to the pot covers, they ground to the chassis, which may have many ground currents flowing thru it.
