Re: MARSHALL 1935 bass cab for express?
The key is that it's a sealed back cab, and uses Celesion Greenback pulsonic cone speakers per Glen Kuykendall. People, typically use a model 1960 cab IIRC. Probably very similar to this cab you bought.

Re: Hot Rod Deluxe help
If you are removing either the main board or tube socket boards (or both), consider touching up the solder connnections on each board for the ribbon cables. The movement and flexing can cause dodgy solder connections to loosen or even disconnect. Lyle Caldwell on Facebook posted a fairly comprehensi...

Mark, I believe that Amp Parts Direct might be part of Antique Electronics. You build enough to qualify for their wholesale side- CE Distribution. Good savings over the retail side.

Structo (Tom) has a serious medical thing going. Mark Huss probably looks in from time to time, but Greg (HeeBGB) is the only active one these days.

Re: First express build first try finished
The switch I showed in the build guide is the original Stackpole (now Electroswitch) that Ken Fischer used in earlier wrecks. Ken wired 2 gangs together per impedance position in order to get enough wattage margin to handle the OT. Later, I believe Ken used the Lorlin style switch shown above by Mar...

Re: Parts bin Princeton Reverb
Nice looking old school build. I am curious, what is a Nujwoot chassis? I could not find any info on that make of chassis and what is your Fender style fiberboard of choice? I called Rodgers amplifiers recently for a cabinet and was told that Larry Rodgers had passed away. The few times I spoke to ...

Try Songwut Noojwut out of Thailand- he sold on eBay for years. I have his email: noojwut@yahoo.com
Very nice guy, excellent product, but a bit spendy with shipping.

Re: Trainwreck Express Head Cabinet step by step
JP, For the chassis you are using it will require #10-32 screws that go directly into those mounting inserts. The length of them will vary depending in part on the thickness of the wood you used. If you want to do something very clever but simple you can add the rubber feet along with the screws th...

I walked right by this amp on Saturday and admired it. Wish I'd known you were going to be there, I would have introduced myself!
Stupid question, are you Russ Martin?
