Re: Ultimate Hammond Conversions thread
I believe your OT will be good for a 5e3. But I think the HT from PT will be a bit high. Wait for sluckey to chime in.

Re: Cool find - info please
Hi Steve,
Yes noticed that. Haven’t opened her up yet. Uses 6l6 for output and gz32 recto and 2x ef40 (I think) for pre. Seems like there are only 2 electrolytic caps. The rest seem to be film ? Apparently the unit works. Will still be careful powering up (slowly)!

The coolest amp I have ever seen in person. Any info would be highly appreciated. Amp is a Bouyer Fidex ...

Re: 1969 JMP refurbish
Will do. However the primaries are VERY thin gauge! . The amp used to work with this PT, so yes it should be OK. Just looks shit. Maybe I can make a plate for it and remount?

9BEFBE34-1CAB-4B48-8347-650DFAA9C22A.jpeg Have been asked by a friend to get this thing going again. It was sent to a tech to sort a Red plating issue many moons ago with no progress. Buddy collected and brought it to me. The main board looks mostly untouched. However the main transformer is not or...

Connect speaker to a variac and let it play the 50/60hz for a day or two
