How PPIMVs are ended
What I mean by that is that I've researched these, mostly lookin at the LarMar examples. They are all "ended" with the "ground" lead going to the bias voltage. I built an amp, my Harlow design with help from a few folks here, has a PPIMV which is simply connectd to ground. Is this acceptable? Seem t...

TSL60 Master Volume or layout
Anybody know what the Master volume pot value is on a Marshall TSL60? Or does anyone have a layout diagram?
I have a friend (far away) who's having troubles with the MV pot on his TSL60. Does anybody know (yes, I've searched) the value or type (PCB?) of this pot?

So ole Dubya was rootin for what amounts to close to slave labor? And now their taking over? Well imagine that.
I understand Arizona's getting in trouble for trying to do something about it. Good luck to 'em.

Still getting the warning from Google. I haven't been here in a long while (insane work hours) and wondered what was up. Hope you guys get that warning down.

Re: please recommend a good alternative to "Tolex Glue"
I can't remember where I got mine but it wasn't Mojo. I don't have asthma but I don't recall it having much of an odor. However, my last couple of cabs I didn't use Tolex so it's been awhile. I didn't buy a gallon, I got a couple of quarts and it was probably comparatively expensive. But it did work...

Re: please recommend a good alternative to "Tolex Glue"
The best thing I've found is Better Bond Tolex Adhesive, but it Is water based. I tried a bunch of other types and they didn't work worth a flip even though I followed the instruction religiously.

Re: Underrated Guitarists.
Zappa for sure - the guy was bloody Amazing!
But in my book the Most underrated guitarist is Johnny Winter. This man nailed blues to the wall and could rock the house down.
Speaking of whom, Floyd Radford was excellent too as well as Rick Derringer of course.

Re: Keyless entry remote transmitter not lighting up
Every once in awhile mine refuses to work. The last time, I had taken the key off the ring and started the car, locking it in from the outside with the fob so the car would warm up before I got off work. Ten minutes later I go out in the driving snow and the fob does nothing. The key was in the car ...

Re: Finger Joint Jig
That's a slick looking jig. I just got the finger joint template for my router and it works great - makes perfect joints every time (after the learning curve). I've done it with the index pin on the table saw, and I think the router is much easier and you don't get the cumulative error if you mess ...

Re: I've made a start :) 50w #102
Gathering parts takes a lot of effort & time but you get to pick exactly what you want (OK, that's obvious), that makes it well worth it to me. I've wanted to build a #124 for a long time, but finding the time, resources and convincing my wife that I really do need yet another amp, well it doesn't l...

Is this a kit, or did you gather the parts yourself?
Looks like fun to me.
