Man that is a killer piece of history.I had five mesas at one time.When they came out the 70's late were a grand.I would love to get one like yours.It would be like getting a earley strat or tele.And the fact you got the wood cab.Thats a keeper for sure Have fun with that amp,Mikey

Some great info here guys.So is the baffle 3/4 plywood for the speaker mounts ?I can see the rear panal is 3/4.Your right it is a decent amount of weight.Somethingfor me to think about.And the corect speaker is a EVM?They run about 250.00 used if Im not mistaken.Thanks

Its funny how when I had my first ampeg stack,Two 4x12 cabs and I think the V4 head,never did heavy come to mind.I think at 16 I could pick up anything.In my search for good sound heavy was not a thought.That was the seventies.Every now or then was a show being played a half a mile away at a church....

Went to see a old band The Outlaws last year.Very guitar power double lead drivin band.Wanted to see what they were using for amps and was disapointed.Its earley I cant think of the name of it right now but its a populer amp modeler sitting o there speaker cabs,Kemper thats it.Couldnt believe it.

Thanks guys,after about 15 minutes the amp starts working well.But I would never open a amp like this.Something is leaking and then after a 15 minutes its recharged.It sucks cause I spent a lot of money 20 years or so and it just sits here.Like I said I had it serviced a couple years ago and it not ...

Before I got into handwired stuff I was a mesa guy.Sold most of them but kept a few.This one is a big tremoverb combo two v 30s in croc tolex.It turns on but weak intermitten sounds on all channels a settings.But after a while it starts working.What do you think,power tubes and rec tubes are good.Sh...
