Re: Setting up a new bench - need some seasoned advice

The comments about the bench height and stool or chair is important. While I was in high school, we had the tall stools and high benches. It was OK when I was young but, if you are hunched over for long periods of time, it can cause a sore neck and or back. And yeah, sawdust and electronics not good.

Re: NGD!

"Yes officer, he tried to rob me in my house."

Officer: Why is he in the front yard?"

"Well, I followed him out."

Officer: "Why does he have four bullet holes in his back?"

<shrug>

Yep, he definitely gets credit for their sound, unlike Phil Spector, who was insane.

Re: NGD!

Yeah, gun laws are getting crazy. Around where I live, you can legally open carry but nobody does it in town just because it isn't advisable unless you want contact with a LEO. However, in central and eastern Oregon, I have walked into stores with a pistol on my belt. Nobody looks twice at you. Frie...

Re: Check this out......

I used the DIN Male 5 Pin w/lock Ring Plug.

I like how it secures the plug in the jack.

Re: NGD!

I have been stopped a couple times by traffic cops since I got my CHL. The conceal carry class instructor told us to tell the cop that you are a CHL permit holder. He also said that the CHL comes up when they run your tag and license. The first cop, I told that I have a permit and have a gun in the ...

Re: Spectraflex Cable Review

I used to use the Spetraflex cables that have the cloth on them.

Seemed alright but when I tried a lower cap. cable, I liked what I heard so I have been using a couple different ones of varying length.

Re: Conductive Paint for Inside of Head Cabinet?

That paint is pretty expensive isn't it?

I usually just buy a sheet of aluminum flashing from the Depot.

Then either glue it down or staple it down.

Aluminum foil will work but is less durable.

Re: NGD!

I forgot to say, I saw on Kimber's site that they now have wood looking grips with laser by Crimson Trace. That is pretty cool! But I don't see wood like grips at Crimson's site. You can tack another $400 onto the price of a gun with this laser. [img:225:217]http://www.kimberamerica.com/media/catalo...

Re: NGD!

I haven't really followed Kimber's 45 line in the past years but the thing I liked about mine is it has the extended beaver tail, skeleton hammer, target trigger, magazine well relief, adjustable sights, etc. Basically it came all tricked out. I see now they have multiple models. I didn't really lik...
