Those are kind of hard to find anymore.

The letters do need a clear coat so they can't be rubbed off.

It's really hard to get the letters straight and level.

I got some years ago from my dad when he worked for the telephone company.

Also if the decals are very old they don't work very good.

Adding too much shielded cable can affect the tone of the amp.

Only use it where it needs to be.

Study your lead dress to see if there are any wires that shouldn't be near preamp stages.

Sometimes faulty coupling caps can cause that motorboat sound.

Check your caps in the preamp to see if any are leaky or out of spec.

I don't mean to say that these amps will make you sound like any of the well known artists that use Dumble Amplification.
