I've got a Ceriatone Liverpool, and the problem is that where it sounds great, it has to be loud. If you only want clean tones, maybe a different amp is the solution? What are your opinions of the lowend when the distortions is kicking hard? Is it thick enough?

Then either enjoy the combination, or buy the ones you like more. (selling the "sale" ones for funding)

I don't like V30's too much either but the combination of them with greenbacks is a favorite of many.
