Re: Airbrake Wattage Rating - Oversight maybe?
Mine on a 100W 4-hole Marshall smelled like a toaster. I was afraid to run it very long.

It is worse
Now I cannot access Ampgarage from work. How am I going to kill all of those hours during the day?

Re: Music to work to
I noticed that YouTube automatically plays the next song or video. I was listening to some Uriah Heep the other day and it autoselected and played similar music to go with it. I have also found a wealth of guitar instruction including Tommy Emmanuel breaking down his technique. You probably would no...

+1 on Pandora. I have a paid subscription so it is commercial free. Some things it just doesn't get. I set up a Kansas station. Unfortunately, they only seem to have one Kansas song. I was expecting it to play other bands like Emmerson, Lake and Palmer, King Crimson, Yes and others in the genre. Wha...

Re: boredom
Maybe you finally have time to play guitar! I often struggle to find time to play, record, mix, build and gig in a balanced way.

Re: Solo Boost Methods
Having a second guitarist can be problematic. I too am in the guitar volume control crowd, at least on my higher gain amps. I don't have the strongest voice in the world, so I turn down quite a bit while I am singing. It works well for a three-piece. I have never had another guitar player that would...

With the 8 Ohm output impedance, you have a lot of choices for speakers. This is a natural fit for a champ variant.

Re: Want to Dumble mod a 1964 Fender Princeton with tremolo
I have a nice clean 1976 Stratocaster. In the early 1980's I thought it would be really cool to route it out and install a humbucker in the bridge position. I still have that guitar and have put the original pickups back in it. It did not make me play like Eddie Van Halen and now my guitar is worth ...

Re: Set list app?
Thanks a bunch gents. I downloaded Set List Maker this evening. I did not think I needed this much power until I had it. It has really nice database functions for sorting my songs to make sets for specific gigs and I can attach PDF files to display lyrics for songs that are giving me grief. I still ...

Set list app?
I upgraded my PA to the new Soundcraft ui16. This is an absolutely wonderful piece of gear. My sound guy runs it with a surface. I bought an iPad so I can tweak my monitor on the fly. Now that I have this, I want to dump my book and music stand. I make it a point to learn the lyrics, but in a four h...

Much appreciation, brother Miles. You are correct. The original was a noisy little bitch.

Re: Marshall Split Channel / Single Channel
Yep, mine is an '85, so it is in the ballpark and the transformers are really beefy. Since I am further down the B+ string, what is the minimum voltage I can get away with?

Re: Marshall Split Channel / Single Channel
I was afraid someone was going to convince me to do that. There is not an elegant way put an extra 50/50 can in there without drilling a big hole in the chassis.
