Re: Electroplex Rocket 90
Haha, that's what I tell my wife. "If you want me to stop jonzin for gear all I need is 10 or 15 amps and a new build every month or so."M Fowler wrote:Ben I just look at it every time I come in and have not fired it up probably because I don't want to buy any amps right now.
Too busy building my own.

Re: Joe! Pass the GAS!
That's gotta be pushing two or three hundred thousand bucks worth of gear, no? Just the guitars, almost a hundred of 'em, probably averaging more than $1000 a pop, no? Insane.

Re: Vox Tonelab ST [?]
I'm about to be seconded to the UK for work and can't take my AC30 etc. My cunning plan is to take a guitar and a Tonelab ST. Sounds good in theory - amps and cabinets modeled - some effects (which I never use but might be fun) - headphone output - light weight. Trouble is I don't actually own one!...

Re: New HRM build
Ok, I got some more "Formica" to work with. I put that in quotes because the stuff I found is a competing brand called "Wilsonart" They sell 8x10" samples for one dollar. So one sample should be enough for a main board and a backing board. I did get some real Formica samples but they were about 3" ...

Power Supply Design
I'm looking for some good reading material on PSU design in the context of tube amps. If anyone can recommend some (preferrably not books I don't own, which is anything other than TUT vol. 1) I'd be greatful.
