Neil needs a forgiving amp, he's IMHO one of the sloppiest players this side of Jimmy Page. And I say that with all due respect for their artistry and writing.

Both the Accord and the Camry will just about run as long as you want, given normal maintenance. Had both, never had a problem. My Mother's Camry wagon is over 20 years old with 200K+ miles and runs like a top. Not sure that the Hyundai has quite caught up on the uber reliability of Honda and Toyota.

The BNC lugs I found had a much too short leg to bend around the pot. Perhaps there are some I haven't seen that will work.

He's got some kind of outboard unit that he uses with his tweed Deluxes, I seems to recall a mention of another bigger tweed model as well.
