Re: Wiring 4 Scumbacks in 4/12 Cab
I've drawn up a 4x12 wiring diagram for series/parallel. This is identical to how Marshall wired them in the late 60's through the late 70's. [img:542:554]http://southbayampworks.com/wiring/SBA412series-parallelwiring.gif[/img] I have tried parallel/series wiring, and it sounds thinner, with less ba...

Due to it's needing a paper voice coil to be authentic sounding, and not a higher temperature version (nome...

Re: What speakers do you use with your Trainwreck Express?
I believe Jim (Southbay Amp Works) can make 65watt versions of the speakers without effecting tone. Actually, 25, 65 and 100 watt versions, now that the new 100 watt voice coils sound like the 65 watt models. The low power models are a hair brighter than Pre Rola's, when they break in (20-30 hours ...

Re: David Lindley is selling two ODS
I talked to Jim Foote on Saturday. At his request I am deleting my previous post. I can tell you he's not taking over the Dumble amp building reins from HAD, and there are no plans to that effect in the works, nor has he talked to HAD for quite some time.
