Calling Mark Abbott... Rocket?
Mark, just curious how your Rocket project has been coming along. It looks like a couple of months ago you were having some hum problems. Any progress? I have been anxiously awaiting your completion of the amp and your impressions.
Talk to Chris Gondoli as he has built a Rocket-ish clone.

Firstly sorry to take so long to reply to you, I had hoped that I would find time to do a bit more work with my Rocket clone.
Regrettably I haven't done anymore to the Rocket prototype, I have been busy building a Marshall 18 watt 2 X 12" clone. I have encountered a few problems that have kept me busy.
I haven't finalised anything regarding the layout, or come up with any revelations about the circuit.
Basically, the amp I built sounded wonderful with a Stratocaster; much better then the Express or the Liverpool in my opinion. The Rocket clone also sounded great with an open back cab where the Express and the Liverpool absolutely hated the open back cab.
