Liverpool Build

Post by bkvance »

Well,
Im taking the plunge, I have purchased a Liverpool Kit from rj and this will be my first attempt and I'm really excited. Im sure I will have many questions (Mark Fowler) and others that have already given me some guidance. I'm off work all next week so I should be able to make some solid progress.

Thanks again for all of you veterans builders that are willing to share your knowledge with those of use that are new to this craft.

Brian,

Great looking speaker cabinet!

UPS really took us for a long slow dance in getting the amp package out... turns out a 3 day ice storm in Texas somehow crippled the company for about 10 days... including any kind of courtesy communication to let us know that there might be a delay in delivery. Brian was way cool about it and eventually we got him a parts package.

Looking forward to the build reports.

RJ,

The wait proves to be worth it the kit is just what I was looking for and I'm getting started, but taking my time and want to do it right. Yeh UPS did a number on a lot of folks this year for sure. I need to put up the pics of the two amp cabinets, they turned out really nice.

Very nice wood work!!! I love the amp cab and the speaker 1x12 as well. My only comment is that if I was gonna use a 1x12 with any trainwreck style amp then my speaker of choice would be celestion Gold 16 ohms. I don't think EV is a good match. :) Still great looking cabs!!
