Mark, do the diodes change the feel of the power supply?

How will the chassis be oriented? Will the tubes hang down?

Lower voltage PT so feels good if nota 1k sag resistor can be added. Don't want tube recto on this gigging amp.

This chassis mounts like a Marshall BluesBreaker tubes are horizontal with knobs up.

real nice. love the use of the eyelet strip to connect to the output tubes. can't wait to see it all built up in the combo.

Looks nice Mark, I have thought about a combo but am concerned about the weight of the PT on the Alum chassis, are you going to support it in the cab?

I also added a mid control to the last one I built, makes it much more versatile, been thinking about the PPIV master too, does it get much crunch?

Cheers

I have Express and Rocket combos gigging in Minneapolis, Fargo, Nashville, USA etc. for years now and no problems with PT weight causing problems on the chassis. No extra supports either.

I have guys that do want the mid pot and ask for PPIMV. Gets nice crunch or dirt and take pedals well.

Been chasing problem in this amp for a while but finally figured out it was a hidden filament solder joint I kept missing since I got the full 6.3v on power up but I EL84 would red plate and that joint must open up every time the load would come up to full potential or I was just being careless in my assessment.

Oh well all is good now.
