Tested today with an OX attenuator/simulator and found it drained the dynamics of the amplifier. Surprisingly we could hear how it pulsed when pushed hard on a chord ect :) definitely a great sounding build. Will take some voltage readings and better pics later on for reference.

Yeah, attenuators are really hit and miss, some work well with attenuators and others are a disaster.

Tell me about it. I find a couple clicks down is fine and more and the Amp loses touch sensitivity, dynamics, harmonics ect. However with the Ox into the simulator full out volume at 1:00 it loses dynamics and harmonic swell (more Marshall like) but has a pulse feel when you hit a hard chord (some of dynamics come through)
