Ultra has an Express and a Rocket
Along with the Komet line

Gregg Levy has had many Wrecks over the years and actually has his own amp line called the New Jersey which is a collab with Snider Amplification

Yea ...according to the guy I spoke to at Ultra they have three Express amps and a Rocket.

You have to leave a $25K security deposit for the Express. We got to talking and he asks if I'd be interested in renting a real 59 LP. So I'm thinking Is he kidding or what? I gonna have a problem leaving a 25K deposit for an Express let alone 250k for a 59LP.

If something happens what do I tell my wife....UH...honey?...I got into a car accident....but I'm OK....and we have to sell the house to pay for the guitar that got destroyed..........

The house...YES...the bullet.......Maybe.........the wife..Definately!! All for a real 59. I do have the Mangled LP jr which I believe to be mid 50's.

Turn out is a touchy subject. A few people have emailed me to say they think they will be there but not sure yet. I think as the date gets closer more people will commit. I think the date is just too far off still to give a definate answer for a lot of people.

I am goingf to do this reguardless. The reason I want a head count is because I want to be sure the space is adequate and I want to have enough food and drink for the masses

Hey guys,

I sent Ken Fischer a letter inviting him to the Ampfest. Unfortunately he won't be able to attend. He wrote me back a very nice letter on what appears to be a copy of Ampeg Stationary from their Woodside, Long Island days.

He is a very nice guy BTW. I really didn't expect him to come to the ampfest or even answer my letter.


His Birthday is May 12th. He will be 60. We should do something to celebrate. Maybe we should send him an amp
