Ones I've measured seem to drift up in value like yours, also this other player I know really likes his around .03 with the vintage wiring.
"My pots only read about 30k when they are on 3 and only up to about 60k on 5."
My centralabs read 30 at 2 then jump to 100 at 5 and have the bump from 8-10. The carbon rings are pretty thick unlike the newer wafer thin current production ones.
