I'm really loving this tone! I am thinking hard about doing an Express build

Well thanks very much! The express was my first amp build, and I just recently finished a Rocket. They are both incredible amps, and I would never have been able to do it without the help of the folks on this forum!
Re: This clip rocks!
The express sounds great man! What type of iron did you use?
How'd the rocket turn out? Sound pretty amazing? Better for "cleaner" tones?
This clip makes me really want to do an express build!!

Strato,
When you made those recordings did you use a Les PAul or a Strat?
Bridge or Neck pickup?
Very nice tone, I really like the "stringyness" of the TW for chords.

Those clips were done with my old 335, and all of it was played in the bridge position. That guitar really shines with my express, since the pots gave a very nice taper.

Clips are gone.
A shame. I really, really liked the semi-clean tone.

as i said its no point to tell us that you have sound clips and just delete them
Re: This clip rocks!
I too miss them, but in all fairness, it's been 6 months.
Re: This clip rocks!
I apologize for deleting the files... Someone sent me a message on youtube, supposedly from the Fisher family, threatening legal action for calling my amps "trainwreck clones" and demanded that I remove them. Rather then trying to see if it was legitimate, I just deleted them.
Has anyone else had experience with this?

Ummm..
What a bunch of assholes. Ok, back to Mr. Niceguy.
They can't make you not post clips of your amps.

I can't imagine there is anything illegal about calling an amateur-built, not-for-commercial-sale amp a Trainwreck clone. If you show it with a TW logo on it in a video, then there might be an issue...
clip
Yea that sucks!!Kinda got bullied on the play ground there!I really wanted to see that.I really doubt anybody would pay money to litigate a Utube vid.
Its not like your messing with CoCa Cola.O well,Maybe you can just call it a marshall and repost

+1
As long as there is no trademark infringement, there should be no problem posting YouTube of a clone amp.

or just mis-spell trainwreck when you make the post
